Privacy Policy

Hallowed Ink is a static website. We don't run user accounts, comments, newsletters or advertising. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful.

Information we collect

We don't ask you for personal information. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, and we use it only to reply and to act on your request (for example, a correction). We don't sell or share it.

Interactive tools

The idea generator, flash-sheet builder and site search run entirely in your browser. Your selections and searches are not sent to us or stored on any server.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data such as IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested, for security and delivery purposes. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Third-party services

We use Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics 4, which measures how visitors use the site: pages viewed, time on page, approximate location (country or city), device and browser type, and how you arrived. Google processes this data on our behalf; we don't use it to identify you, and we don't use advertising features or sell data. Fonts, styles and images are served from our own domain.

Cookies and local storage

Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*) to distinguish visits; they typically expire after up to 2 years. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use the opt-out add-on above; the site works fully without them. We don't use cookies for advertising.

External links

We link to external sources such as the FDA and the American Academy of Dermatology. Their privacy practices are their own.

Children

This site is intended for adults. Most U.S. states require tattoo clients to be 18 or older. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
